MIO3 and Calidad Inmobiliaria advance real estate development in El Salvador through tokenization

San Salvador, El Salvador – March 21, 2025 – Calidad Inmobiliaria and MIO3 have entered into an agreement to develop RENACER, a residential condominium project in Soyapango. The development is intended to contribute to the transformation of the area, introducing a housing model focused on accessibility, modern design, and urban growth.

With an investment of more than 20 million dollars, RENACER represents a relevant development within the Salvadoran real estate sector. Within this context, MIO3 participates as the platform enabling the tokenization of a project of this scale in the region, applying its technological and operational infrastructure to support the initiative.

The project includes 297 apartments across two towers. RENACER is structured as a housing solution designed to support families in the area, while also considering demand from Salvadorans living abroad who are seeking housing options for their families or long-term planning. The development incorporates modern amenities and a tokenization model that enables more structured and transparent participation in real estate investment.

“RENACER reflects how tokenization can be applied within the real estate sector. We value the trust placed in MIO3 and our role in supporting the evolution of real estate development in El Salvador through tokenization. The project integrates technology across its structure, from capital formation to asset management,” said Julio Valdés, Co-Founder and CEO of MIO3.

“We are working toward more sustainable and strategic urban growth. This project reflects our approach to housing development within a modern and secure environment, with the objective of improving quality of life. It also introduces additional mechanisms for participation in real estate projects, both for local and international investors,” said Andrés Rosa, Financial Manager of Calidad Inmobiliaria.

The tokenization of the RENACER project operates under El Salvador’s Digital Assets Law and complies with current regulatory requirements. This framework provides a structured environment for qualified investors and future property owners. Among its implications are more efficient cost structures and the possibility of participating in fractional ownership of real estate assets.

With more than 20 years of experience and over 30 projects developed in El Salvador and Guatemala, Calidad Inmobiliaria has established a presence in the regional real estate sector. Combined with MIO3’s work in tokenization, RENACER is positioned within a broader context of real estate projects exploring digital asset frameworks under regulatory oversight. This contributes to ongoing developments in the adoption of financial technologies within the sector.
